Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 July 2026 · Applies to: waitlist sign-ups, early access, and investor enquiries
This notice explains how Xanivar Labs Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (UEN 202607828N, registered office 160 Robinson Road, #14-04 Singapore Business Federation Center, Singapore 068914) (“Xanivar”, “we”, “us”), handles your personal data when you join a waitlist, ask for early access to our products, or request investor access. For these, Xanivar is the data controller (an “organisation” under Singapore’s PDPA): we decide how and why your data is used.
This notice is only about the waitlist and early-access sign-ups. A separate privacy policy will govern the products themselves once you have an account.
The waitlist is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you are under 18, please do not sign up.
1. What we collect
When you sign up, we collect only what we need to run the waitlist:
- Email address (required) — so we can contact you.
- Name, if you give it.
- Country or region, if you provide it or we infer it from your sign-up.
- Your interest — which product(s) you signed up for (the main app or Field), whether you want it at launch or as a beta tester, and which best describes you: consumer, business, or professional.
- Chosen handle (username), if you reserve one — the public username you’d like to use in the product. See “Reserved handles” in Section 5 for how long we hold it.
- How you found us — the landing page, campaign, or referral that brought you.
- Sign-up and consent records — your confirmation (double opt-in) status and the date and time you confirmed, updated your preferences, or unsubscribed.
- Technical data — IP address and basic device/browser information, used for security and to prevent duplicate or fraudulent sign-ups.
We do not ask for sensitive or special-category data (such as health, financial, or government-ID information) for the waitlist. Please don’t include it.
Our sign-up pages use cookies and similar tools, including analytics and campaign tags (such as UTM parameters), to understand which campaigns work and to keep the pages secure. See our Cookie Policy for details.
2. Why we use it, and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Add you to the waitlist and manage early-access / beta cohorts | Taking steps at your request; our legitimate interest in running the programme |
| Send you launch, early-access, and beta invitations and related updates | Your consent (you asked to be notified) — you can withdraw at any time |
| Understand demand and measure which campaigns work | Our legitimate interest in planning our launch |
| Confirm your subscription and keep proof of your consent | Legal / compliance and our legitimate interest |
| Prevent spam, abuse, and duplicate or fraudulent sign-ups | Our legitimate interest in protecting the service |
In plain terms, we’ll email you a confirmation when you join, an invitation when it’s your turn to sign up, and occasional updates about launch and early access. That’s all. We won’t use your email for anything else, and we won’t pass it to anyone else to market to you. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Where the law requires consent for marketing messages (including under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law and Singapore’s PDPA), we rely on the consent you give when you sign up, and you can withdraw it at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We share your data only with service providers that help us run the waitlist — for email delivery, and for cloud hosting and database — under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions. Our current list of named providers is available on request at [email protected].
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
4. Where your data is processed
Xanivar is based in Singapore, and our service providers may store or process data in Singapore, the European Union, and the United States. Where personal data moves across borders, we use appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses or ensuring the recipient provides a comparable standard of protection — as required by applicable law. By joining the waitlist, you also consent to your personal data being transferred to and processed in these locations (including the United States), as an additional basis for the transfer. Indonesia’s cross-border transfer rules may change, and we will update our approach if needed.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist data only as long as we need it, and in any case we delete or anonymise it within 12 months of the earliest of: the relevant product launching, the waitlist closing, or you unsubscribing or asking us to delete it. We keep only minimal suppression records (for example, evidence that you unsubscribed) so we can continue to honour your opt-out.
Reserved handles. If you reserve a handle, we hold it for you for 30 days after we email you to say it’s your turn to sign up. We’ll email you about 24 hours before it lapses to remind you. If you haven’t completed sign-up by the end of the 30 days, the reservation is released and the handle may become available to someone else. Reserving a handle gives you first choice of it when you’re invited. It is not a guarantee. The full rules for handles (including our right to reclaim ones that infringe a trademark or impersonate a person or business) are in our Terms of Service.
6. Investor enquiries
If you request investor access through Xanivar Labs, we collect your name, email address, and phone number so we can send you a secure access link and follow up about your interest in investing. We rely on taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in investor relations; we do not use this information for the waitlist or for marketing. We keep it only as long as we need it for investor relations, and the sharing, international-transfer, rights, and contact details in this notice apply to it as well.
7. Your rights
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. These include rights under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law, Singapore’s PDPA, the EU/UK GDPR, and applicable US state privacy laws. To exercise any of these, email us at [email protected].
If you believe we’ve mishandled your data, you can also complain to your local data protection authority — for example, the relevant authority under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law, Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC), or your data protection authority in the EU/UK.
